Creating Test Cases

Test Cases are core to the successful development of an application. Typically there are a group of test cases created to test against a software specification, to ensure that features are met and perform as expected.

A group of test may be assigned to a Test Suite. Test Suites are a way of defining a set of tests as a logical group. A test case may be added to multiple test suites.

The elements of a test case.

A typical test comprises of a name, a test procedure and expected result. An image may be added to the test case to illustrate in more detail an aspect of the case.
